This is one of the very few books on pairs trading around. In contrast to the reviews on Amazon I found this book to be quite good. I think that many of the amazon reviewers didn't spend a significant amount of time thinking about extensions of the presented techniques or reading the book carefully enough. While I did find that some of the text seemed to duplicate itself there were are great number of pair trading gems hidden among the pages. You really only need a few good ideas to significantly improve ones trading. For the dedicated student, this book is well worth its cost. Readers unfamiliar with this book can see what others have said here. For the interested, another book on pairs trading that is quite good is this one.
